An easy yet spectacular excursion to discover the Bordighera hinterland, steeped in myth and legend thanks to the stories of the Knights Templar and the independence claimed by the Principality of Seborga. The tour begins with an easy paved climb to the medieval village, offering unique views of the nearby French Riviera. Once we arrive in Seborga, we'll take a walking tour of the village followed by a snack. The tour then heads uphill to discover one of the most iconic sites of western Liguria, the slopes of Monte Nero, an intricate system of compacted forest roads offering epic panoramic views in every direction. Participants will experience the true jewel of Liguria, a paradise "between the Alps and the sea." The tour returns to Bordighera for an aperitif on the beach and a refreshing swim.
MANDATORY PERSONAL EQUIPMENT: backpack, 1 liter of water, suitable clothing and bicycle-specific chamois, helmet (can be rented with the e-bike), cell phone.
RECOMMENDED PERSONAL EQUIPMENT: cycling gloves, short or long, technical clothing, spare clothing. E-Bike rentals are currently being updated.
